The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 is taking place in the UAE from October 3 to 20. Teams are divided into two groups of five and will play each other once. The top two teams from each group will move on to the semi-finals on October 17 and 18, with the final match on October 20.
Group A features Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, while Group B includes England, West Indies, South Africa, Bangladesh, and Scotland. Defending champions Australia are strong favorites, led by Alyssa Healy, and they have won six of the eight editions held so far.
India, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, will aim for their first title, with their campaign starting on October 4 against New Zealand. The much-anticipated India vs. Pakistan match is set for October 6.
