Chennai: In the first match of the Test series held at Chidambaram Stadium, Team India achieved a huge victory over Bangladesh by 280 runs.
This win shocked the touring team, who were confident after their recent victory against Pakistan.
After losing the toss and batting first, India scored 376 in their first innings and 287-4 in the second, setting a daunting target of 515 runs. The Indian bowlers applied relentless pressure, making it difficult for Bangladesh to score. As a result, the opposing team struggled, leading to India’s commanding win.
Following their historic victory in the Test series against Pakistan, India surprised Bangladesh, who came in with high energy to defeat them.
The second match of the series will be held on October 1 in Kannur, Uttar Pradesh.
