Interceptor Bear 650 Unveiled: Royal Enfield’s Stylish New Scrambler

Royal Enfield(RE) has introduced its highly anticipated motorcycle, the Interceptor Bear 650. It’s built on the same platform as the Interceptor 650, but with several changes to give it a scrambler-style look and feel.

New Look with Features:

The Bear 650 looks more stylish and cool than the regular Interceptor. The attractive paint job, new tires, and unique exhaust system make it stand out. It also has a scrambler-style seat and a number board on the side, adding to its rugged appearance.

This bike comes with full LED lights, and its wheels have been upgraded. The new spoke wheels are fitted with MRF Nylorex off-road tires, though they’re not tubeless.

Improved Suspension and Performance:

The Bear 650 is equipped with Showa USD forks that resemble shotgun-style forks. These forks have different internal parts compared to the Interceptor, offering more suspension travel, which means a higher seat height.

The brake components are similar to the Interceptor’s, but the front brake disc is larger, and the bike comes with dual-channel ABS as standard. The rear ABS can be turned off for off-road riding.

Powerful Engine:

The Bear 650 keeps the same 650cc parallel-twin engine as the Interceptor, producing 47bhp of power and 57Nm of torque. This is slightly more torque than the Interceptor. The bike also features a full-color TFT display with an inbuilt navigation system.

The exhaust system is now a two-into-two design, which makes the bike a bit lighter. It will come in five color options, each priced differently. Royal Enfield will reveal the final price when the bike is launched on November 5.

Price:

The Interceptor Bear 650 has no direct competition in the Indian market at the moment, and its exact pricing will be a range of Rs. 3,39000 – Rs. 3,59000 in India.
