The Kannada actress Rashmika Mandanna, who gained fame as the “National Crush,” is now a sought-after actress in both South Indian cinema and Bollywood, following the massive success of Pushpa-2. Having started her career in Kannada cinema, Rashmika won hearts in Telugu and Tamil films, and has now made her mark in Bollywood, with rumors suggesting she may settle in the industry. As proof, she is reportedly receiving more offers from Bollywood than from South Indian projects. Rashmika has already signed films like Sikind with Salman Khan and Call-2 with Shahid Kapoor, both of which are in her busy shooting schedule. It’s expected that most of her future films will be in Bollywood. Media reports also suggest she might buy a home in Mumbai, indicating her potential long-term stay in the city.
In 2023, Rashmika delivered back-to-back hits, with Varisu (Tamil) grossing ₹300 crore and Animal (Bollywood) earning ₹900 crore.
Moving to Mumbai will help Rashmika work closely with Bollywood filmmakers and strengthen her position in both Bollywood and South Indian industries, supported by numerous offers and brand endorsements.
